A Comprehensive List of Animated Disney Movies That Are a No, and A Why for Each
There's 89 of them.
This article is partly precipitated from it being one of my most frequent dm questions. What are good kid movies? Which movies do you permit for young children? Do you watch disney movies?
I will explain the parameters of this post. On this list there are two types of movies.
The two types are, ones that could be watched once, but aren’t good enough to watch again and own. I do not think it would be good for a young child to watch any of the movies on this list over and over. And secondly, others are not acceptable to watch even once.
This is a list of movies that are not good enough for our home library. If it is in our home library, that means we find rewatches over time beneficial.
The reasons entries are listed as unacceptable are not all equal in severity. In our family, some of the types of things we wouldn’t really watch even once are immodest dress and sexual content.
There might be MORE things wrong with these than I have listed, but they are as far as we got before it was eliminated, or it is the predominant reason I remember.
